After a Navajo rug weaving demonstration, this tour explores both Mystery Valley and Monument Valley. Mystery Valley is adjacent to the south side of Monument Valley, and was once home to the ancient Anasazi. Visit many fascinating sites where the Anasazi, “The Ancient Ones”, have left their homes and rock art as a reminder of their habitation of, and then mysterious disappearance from, the area.
After Mystery Valley, you will enjoy a barbecued hamburger lunch (choice of vegetarian available upon request) at a private cookout site. The tour will then proceed on to cover the entire scope of Monument Valley, including the restricted area. Approximate duration of tour is 8 hours.
- Water/Snacks: Water is provided on all tours, but you are encouraged to bring a water bottle.
- Lunch is provided.
- The All Day tour departs year round at 9:00 and is approximately 8 hours in duration.
