Goulding’s Campground offers clean, modern campsites with a view of Monument Valley.
We are located in Monument Valley, approximately 6 miles from the Monument Valley Tribal Park. We are perfectly located to serve as a hub for those interested in visiting other locations in the area, such as Canyon De Chelly National Monument, Hovenweep National Monument, Navajo National Monument, Four Corners National Monument, Goosenecks State Reserve, Natural Bridges National Monument and Valley of the Gods, to name a few.
Goulding’s Lodge was home to John Ford and John Wayne during the filming of many classic western films such as Stagecoach and The Searchers. The landscape is what famous director John Ford loved about Monument Valley.
Sign up for a tour of Monument Valley at the Campground Office and have an experienced Navajo guide take you through one of the most beautiful and sacred areas on planet earth. Visit “LaFont Arch”, just a short hike from the campground.
Once you’ve set up camp, nightly shuttles will take you to Stagecoach Dining Room, Yellow Ribbon Gift Shop, Goulding’s Grocery Store, or nightly showings at our Earth Spirit Theater.
